THE™ His tag antibody has superior affinity, able to recognize 6xHis-, 5xHis-, and 4xHis-tags. Even if the 6xHis-tag is only partially exposed, it will still be identified and bound by THE™ His tag antibody. THE™ His tag antibody, which is produced from mice ascites and purified by protein A affinity column, also recognizes native as well as denatured forms of synthetic polyhistidine and polyhistidine-tagged fusion proteins. Furthermore, THE™ His tag antibody recognizes His Tags placed at N-terminal, C-terminal, and internal regions of fusion proteins expressed in bacteria, insect, and mammalian cells. THE™ His tag antibody can be widely used in Western blot analysis, Dot blot analysis, ELISA, immunofluorescent staining, and flow cytometry of cultured cells.
