Specificity

GenScript Rabbit Anti-VASP (Phospho-Ser¹⁵⁷) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of VASP only when phosphorylated at serine 157.

Immunogen

Synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human VASP around the phosphorylation site of serine 157 (R-V-S^P-N-A)

Purification Method

The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide is removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
