Specificity

GenScript Rabbit Anti-AFX (Phospho-Ser¹⁹⁷) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of AFX only when phosphorylated at serine 197.

Immunogen

Synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human AFX around the phosphorylation site of serine 197 (A-A-S^P-M-D)

Purification Method

The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide is removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
