| Full Name |
V-ATPase Subunit A Antibody, pAb, Rabbit
|
Abbreviated name-1 |
Rabbit Anti-V-ATPase Subunit A pAb; |
|
Description |
The V-ATPase subunit A is a catalytic subunit of the peripheral V1 complex of vacuolar ATPase. V-ATPase vacuolar ATPase is responsible for acidifying a variety of intracellular compartments in eukaryotic cells. V-ATPase is a heteromultimeric enzyme composed of a peripheral catalytic V1 complex attached to an integral membrane V0 proton pore complex. GenScript Rabbit Anti-V-ATPase Subunit A Polyclonal Antibody is developed in rabbit using a KLH-coupled synthetic peptide, purified from rabbit antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography. |
Ig Subclass |
Rabbit IgG |
Storage |
The antibody is stable for 2-3 weeks if stored at 2-8°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles. |
Specificity |
GenScript Rabbit Anti-V-ATPase Subunit A Polyclonal Antibody reacts with mouse V-ATPase subunit A. Sequence homology predicts that it will also react with human, bovine, orangutan, tobacco hornworm, chicken, fruit fly, and zebrafish V-ATPase subunit A. |
Concentration |
0.5 mg/ml in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 30% glycerol, and 0.02% sodium azide |
Immunogen |
Synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH |
Purification Method |
Immunoaffinity chromatography |
Applications |
Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigator. The appropriate concentrations may be affected by secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, the sensitivity of the method of detection, temperature, the length of the incubations, and other factors. The suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below has not been determined. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product.
ELISA: 0.02-0.2 μg/ml
Western blot: 1.0 μg/ml
Immunoprecipitation: 2-10 µg/mg of lysate
Other applications: user-optimized |
Conjugation |
Unconjugated |
Host Species |
Rabbit |
Antigen Species |
Mouse |
Note |
Small volume of antibody will occasionally become entrapped in the cap of the vial during shipment and storage. Before use, centrifuge the vial briefly to bring down any liquid in the cap. |
