Description |
Mouse Anti-DYKDDDDK-tag Monoclonal Antibody is a purified IgG2b/kappa monoclonal antibody isolated from murine ascites fluid. It can be used to detect DYKDDDDK-tagged proteins. The small size of the epitope tag and its high hydrophilicity tend to decrease the possibility for it to interfere with protein expression, proteolytic maturation, antigenicity and other functions. The enterokinase cleavage site allows it to be completely removed from purified fusion proteins.
GenScript Mouse Anti-DYKDDDDK-tag Monoclonal Antibody is also useful for the affinity purification of proteins with DYKDDDDK markers at free N-termini or C-termini when bound to a solid support.

Applications |
Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigator. The appropriate concentrations may be affected by secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, the sensitivity of the method of detection, temperature, the length of the incubations, and other factors. The suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below has not been determined. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product. ELISA: 0.05-0.2 µg/ml Western blot: 0.1-1.0 µg/ml Immunoprecipitation: 1 µg/ml Other applications: user-optimized |
Fusion Partner |
Spleen cells fused with SP2/0-Ag14 mouse myeloma cells. |
