Description |
Influenza A (H1N1) virus is a subtype of influenzavirus A and the most common cause of influenza (flu) in humans. A strain of swine-origin H1N1 was responsible for the 2009 flu pandemic. NS2 (Nonstructural Protein 2) binds to the influenza matrix protein M1 that is bound to the ribonucleoprotein (RNP) complex. And NS2 is involved in the contact between the M1/RNP complex and the cellular exportin CRM.
