Description |
CD45, also known as leukocyte-common antigen (LCA) is an integral membrane protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on leukocyte cell surface. It suppresses JAK kinases and negatively regulates cytokine receptor signaling. CD45 is essential for activation of T and B cells by mediating cell-to-cell contacts and regulating protein-tyrosine kinases involved in signal transduction. CD45 is also involved in integrin-mediated adhesion and migration of immune cells. It can be used to identify undifferentiated hematopoietic tumors as an antigenic marker. |
Ig Subclass |
IgG1 |
Storage |
GenScript CD45 Antibody, mAb, Mouse should be stored lyophilized until use. It remains stable in lyophilized form for at least two years if stored at -20°C or below. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 4-8°C or for up to 12 months at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles. |
Specificity |
GenScript CD45 Antibody, mAb, Mouse recognizes human CD45 Leucocyte Common Antigen (LCA), a 180-240 kD protein expressed on B-cells, T-cells, and monocytes. It can also be used to differentiate lymphomas from carcinomas. |
Concentration |
1 mg/ml, lyophilized in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline and 0.01 M Tris-Gly buffer, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide |
Purification Method |
Protein G affinity purified immunoglobulin |
Applications |
FACS: 1-2 μg/ml
ELISA/Immunoblotting: 1-2 μg/ml
Immunocytochemistry (frozen tissue): 10 μg/ml |
Conjugation |
Unconjugated |
Species Reactivity |
Human. Reactivity to other species is not tested yet. |
Host Species |
Mouse |
Note |
Briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container's cap because small volumes of antibody will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. |
