CD90 known as Thy-1, is a heavily N-glycosylated cell surface protein with a single V-like immunoglobulin domain. It may play a role in cell-cell or cell-ligand interactions during synaptogenesis and other events in the brain. CD90 can be used as a marker for a variety of stem cells and for the axonal processes of mature neurons. It is one of the popular combinatorial surface markers for FACS for stem cells in combination with other markers like CD34.GenScript CD90 Antibody (5A4D10), mAb, Rat is produced from the hybridoma resulting from fusion of SP2/0-Ag14 myeloma and B-lymphocytes obtained from rat immunized with purified mouse CD90 recombinant protein.
