Comment

Summary: This gene is part of a gene cluster on chromosome Xp11.23. The encoded protein contains a zinc finger motif often found in transcriptional regulators, however, its exact function is not known. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008].

Transcript Variant: This variant (2) differs in the 5' UTR compared to variant 1. Variants 1 and 2 encode the same protein.

Sequence Note: This RefSeq record was created from transcript and genomic sequence data to make the sequence consistent with the reference genome assembly. The genomic coordinates used for the transcript record were based on transcript alignments.

##Evidence-Data-START## Transcript exon combination :: AK291220.1 [ECO:0000332] ##Evidence-Data-END## COMPLETENESS: complete on the 3' end.
