Responsibilities:
GenScript is a leading biology contract research organization in the world. As one major player in the Protein Department, the incumbent is expected to enhance the technical level and quality of protein production and service. He/she is required to leading research and development group to produce cytokine production. He/she is required to identify novel business opportunities, propose strategies to address unmet challenges, make implementable work plans, lead and directly participate in the investigation and write reports. He/she is also expected in marketing and business activities.
RequirementsQualifications: 1. Ph. D. or Master degree with five years' experience in biochemistry, protein science or a related field, prefer in cytokine production; 2. A thorough understanding and hand-on experience in protein expression, purification and characterization in E.coli, Yeast and insect cell system; 3. At least five years experience in protein science with demonstrated track record of technology innovation and process optimization; 4. Playing the role in scientific leadership, including study design, literature reference research, project direction, and scientific discussion 5. Taking full accountability on precise execution of the experimental protocol, submission of intermittent data to clients, arrange of operational schedule, documentation of protocol modification/revisions, examination of data quality, interpretation of results, completion of study report, and collation and archive of study related materials according to company's policies and client's requests; 6. Ensuring effective completion of multiple studies, including timelines, required technical skills, scientific literatures required, communication with operational staff, proper documentation, and familiarity with the relative standard operation procedures; 7. Proactively participating in collaborative projects 8. Excels in a collaborative work environment, good inter-personal, managerial and leadership skills and strong oral and written communication abilities
