"We used GenScript's plasmid preparation service to prepare large quantities of plasmids that contain our Southern blot probe fragments. This saved our lab considerable time and expense. From the initial order to service delivery, GenScript provided our lab with timely follow-ups and valuable advice. We now have an adequate supply of these probes with no need to grow bacterial cultures every time a new probe is required. Thank you, GenScript!"
― Dr. Melissa A. Melan, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, USA
GenScript provides pure plasmid DNA from both high-copy and low-copy plasmids grown from bacterial cultures. These plasmids can be used for many applications within molecular biology, such as mammalian transfection, in vitro transcription and automated sequencing as well as standard downstream applications such as restriction analysis, labeling, ligation, cloning, probe construction, hybridization and PCR without further manipulation. Our protocols minimize DNA shearing and increase plasmid integrity. We also provide ultra-low endotoxin DNA for transfection and gene therapy studies.
Our plasmid preparation services cover individual constructs for research labs as well as large scale manufacturing for biotech suppliers and pharmaceutical companies. For biotech suppliers, we also provide complete vector production service (batch tube aliquoting, labeling, and QC).
