Features
Typical Applications
Research Grade Predominantly supercoiled
  • Typical molecular biology research
SC Grade ≥ 95% Supercoiled*
≤ 0.03 EU/μg Endotoxin
  • Recommended for effective transfection and co-transfection
  • Antibody production
  • Protein manufacturing
  • Animal studies
  • Gene vaccine and gene therapy studies
Advanced SC Grade ≥ 95% Supercoiled*
≤ 0.005 EU/μg Endotoxin
  • Highly effective transfection and co-transfection
  • Antibody production
  • Protein manufacturing
  • Animal studies
  • Gene vaccine and gene therapy studies
* Our standard supercoiled content is measured analytically by densitometry, of which the data obtained is for information only.
** Additional charges may be applied for unstable plasmid production (e.g. toxic plasmids).

Features:

  • Flexible scale: up to gram level. Starting from $50.00 for a MidiPrep (100 μg)
  • Completely enzyme-free and animal-free process for SC Grade and Advanced SC Grade plasmids' production.
  • Stringent and comprehensive quality control: at least seven items, including appearance, A260/280, supercoiled content, residual RNA, genomic DNA, concentrations, restriction analysis, and endotoxin level (upon request).
  • Fast delivery time.

Ordering Information―Starting from $50.00 for a MidiPrep (100 μg)

GenScript's plasmid DNA preparation service provides plasmid DNAs with quantities ranging from milligram to gram level. Both high-copy and low-copy plasmid DNAs are available.

Sample Submission Requirements:

  • Plasmid DNA template of > 1 μg with a concentration of > 100 ng/μl.
  • Dissolved in water, TE buffer or dry in 1.5/0.5 ml centrifuge tube.
  • Bacteria stock and plasmid DNA that is dry on paper are acceptable but not recommended.

Quality Control:

QC Items Specification
Appearance Clear, no visible particles
A260/280 1.8–2.0
Supercoiled content Based on the grade
Residual RNA Not visible on agarose gel
Genomic DNA Not visible on agarose gel
Concentrations 0.5–4 mg/ml upon request
Restriction Analysis Conforms to reference
Endotoxin Assay (LAL test) Based on the grade

Customer Testimonial:

"We used GenScript's plasmid preparation service to prepare large quantities of plasmids that contain our Southern blot probe fragments. This saved our lab considerable time and expense. From the initial order to service delivery, GenScript provided our lab with timely follow-ups and valuable advice. We now have an adequate supply of these probes with no need to grow bacterial cultures every time a new probe is required. Thank you, GenScript!"
