The following ERAS gene sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the ERAS gene which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want? ||REVIEWED REFSEQ: This record has been curated by NCBI staff. The
reference sequence was derived from HY043532.1 and BC101642.1.
On Dec 5, 2012 this sequence version replaced gi:31581555.
Summary: This gene encodes a constitutively active member of the
small GTPase Ras protein family. The encoded protein activates the
phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase signal transduction pathway in
undifferentiated stem cells, but is not expressed in differentiated
cells. This gene may be involved in cancer and chemotherapy
resistance. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2012].
Publication Note: This RefSeq record includes a subset of the
publications that are available for this gene. Please see the Gene
