The following MAS1 gene sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the MAS1 gene which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want? Summary: This gene encodes a class I seven-transmembrane
G-protein-coupled receptor. The encoded protein is a receptor for
angiotensin-(1-7) and preferentially couples to the Gq protein,
activating the phospholipase C signaling pathway. The encoded
protein may play a role in multiple processes including
hypotension, smooth muscle relaxation and cardioprotection by
mediating the effects of angiotensin-(1-7). [provided by RefSeq,
