The following SCNN1G gene sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the SCNN1G gene which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want? ||REVIEWED REFSEQ: This record has been curated by NCBI staff. The
reference sequence was derived from BC059391.1 and X87160.1.
This sequence is a reference standard in the RefSeqGene project.
On Jun 15, 2007 this sequence version replaced gi:42476332.
Summary: Nonvoltage-gated, amiloride-sensitive, sodium channels
control fluid and electrolyte transport across epithelia in many
organs. These channels are heteromeric complexes consisting of 3
subunits: alpha, beta, and gamma. This gene encodes the gamma
subunit, and mutations in this gene have been associated with
Liddle syndrome. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2009].
