Description |
Y1 whole cell lysate |
Concentration |
Concentration: 100 μg/100 μl

Storage |
Aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles. To ensure stability, we recommend aliquoting the extracts into single-use fractions and then storing them at -80ºC.
|
Background |
The Y1 cell line is used for studies of adrenocorticotropin (ACTH) growth regulatory pathways. It is also used for toxicity screening, cloning and other endocrinology research areas. The lysate is a positive control for the serine/threonine kinase c-AMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) (ab5815) (PKA alpha and beta) and for PKA regulatory 2 alpha subunit (ab5829).
|
Application |
Extracts have been quality control tested by western blot and the electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA).
