Background

Description: Lambda DNA/HindIII marker is suitable for sizing and quantifying linear double-stranded DNA from 125 bp to 23.1 kb. The marker is prepared by completely digesting lambda DNA (cl857, Sam7) with HindIII. Lambda DNA/HindIII marker is consisted of 8 fragments: 125 bp, 564 bp, 2.0 kb, 2.3 kb, 4.36 kb*, 6.5 kb, 9.4 kb, 23.1 kp*.

Concentration and Storage buffer: 83 ng/µl in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH=7.5), 1 mM EDTA and with 1 X loading dye solution.

Recommended loading volume: 6.0 µl

Storage: -20 °C.

Note: The fragments marked by * may form additional bands, can be separated by heating 65 °C for 5 min and then immediately cooling on the ice for 3 min.
