Description

GenScript Mouse Anti-His mAb MagBeads, with specificity and affinity to polyhistidine tag, is ideal for rapid immunoprecipitation (IP) of polyhistidine-tagged protein with high specificity. The polyhistidine - tagged protein can bind to the beads to form protein‐beads complex. The complex is separated from the sample with magnetic device. Molecules with nonspecific binding to the Beads can be eliminated by washing steps. The polyhistidine-tagged protein is pulled down from the beads by SDS‐PAGE loading buffer and analyzed by Western Blot.

GenScript Mouse Anti-His mAb MagBeads are superparamagnetic beads of average 40 μm in diameter, covalently coated with THE^TM His Tag Antibody, mAb, Mouse (GenScript, A00186). The beads are supplied as 25% slurry in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.4, containing 20% ethanol. The Mouse Anti-His mAb MagBeads have a binding capacity of more than 300 μg polyhistidine-tagged protein (27kDa)/ml settled beads (e.g. 4 ml 25% slurry).
