Description

The GenScript All-In-One Precast 0.8% Agarose Gel Electrophoresis Kit contains all the necessary reagents for at least eight DNA electrophoresis assays except the running buffer. Each kit provides eight 9-well precast agarose gels, 150 μl gel loading buffer (6X) and 60 μl pre-stained DNA Kb Marker.

A safer, more sensitive, and more environmentally-friendly DNA dye (GelRed from Biotium) is added to the loading buffer for DNA visualization. The All-In-One Precast gels can be photographed without taking them out of the tray using a standard ethidium filter and a 300 nm UV transilluminator.

Gels can be reused several times.

The kits can be stored at 4°C for up to 6 months.

Please use TBE as the running buffer for the gels.

Storage

Store the kit at 4°C. It will remain stable for six months. Avoid exposing the loading buffer and the prestained DNA marker to light. Do not freeze the gels.
