Description

The Y1 cell line is used for studies of adrenocorticotropin (ACTH) growth regulatory pathways. It is also used for toxicity screening, cloning and other endocrinology research areas. The lysate is a positive control for the serine/threonine kinase c-AMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) (ab5815) (PKA alpha and beta) and for PKA regulatory 2 alpha subunit (ab5829).

Storage	Aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles. To ensure stability, we recommend aliquoting the extracts into single-use fractions and then storing them at -80ºC.
