100 Bp DNA Ladder

Description

100 bp DNA ladder is composed of 9 bands which are 100 bp, 200 bp, 300 bp, 400 bp, 500 bp, 600 bp, 800 bp, 1,000 bp and 1,500 bp. The 500 bp band with higher concentration is distinguished easily from others.

Concentration

Supplied as 500 ng/5 ul in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH=7.5), 1 mM EDTA. For ready-to-use^TM format, 1X loading buffer has been added to the marker, and the marker is ready for loading to the gel.

Recommended Loading Volume:
5 μl (or 1 μl/mm width of gel well) with 1 ul of 6X DNA loading buffer

Note

6X DNA loading buffer can be ordered separately.

Storage

-20 °C.

Quality Control

Agarose gel analysis shows that the bands between 100 bp and 1,500 bp are accurate in size and distinguishable. The 500 bp band is easily identified than any other bands.
Incubation of 5 μl of the 100 bp DNA Ladder in restriction enzyme buffer overnight at 37°C shows absence of visible degradation.
