The Smart His-tagged Potein Standard is a lyophilized mixture of six highly purified recombinant proteins ranging in size from 15 to 115 kDa containing a terminal 6xHis tag. It yields six clear bands of similar intensity on western blots, thus can be used for precise MW determination of proteins on western blot membranes. |

7.5 μg of each protein in 60 mM Tris-HCl (pH6.8 at 25°C), 0.4% (w/v) SDS, 10 mM DTT, 0.01% (w/v) bromophenol blue and 2% sucrose. |
Volume |
Add 250 μl of 1x reconstitution buffer, 2.5 μl of the solution is recommended for each lane of a mini-gel. |
Storage |
Store at -20°C or below. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. |
