GenScript Launches eStainTM 2.0 Protein Staining System

PISCATAWAY, New Jersey, 3rd May, 2011 Internationally recognized biotech company GenScript Incorporation has launched eStainTM 2.0 Protein Staining System to replace the original eStainTM System.

The eStainTM 2.0 System provides fast and convenient protein gel staining in 7 minutes or less and has improved previous version with a totally re-designed, stylish and durable protein staining device (L02016) of extended lifetime. The new system has incorporated a well-designed electric circuit and an optimized control program for increased reliability and reproducibility. Additional features such as a large LCD screen and a waste tray are built in to make the display more clear and simplify the cleanup step respectively. "It makes protein gel staining much easier than before," said John Wang, VP of Bio-Reagent Division. "I am confident that with this upgrade, our clients will truly enjoy the process of gel staining from now on."

The eStainTM 2.0 System still utilizes eStainTM Protein Staining Pads (R-250, L02011 or G-250, L02012) to complete gel staining as the previous version. A new graphite electrode (L02017) is developed specifically for eStainTM 2.0 Device and for its use only, while the original graphite electrode (L02014) will still be available for the previous version until the end of 2011.
