Piscataway, NJ May 2012 – GenScript Incorporation announced with honor to continue its sponsorship to the 2012 iGEM competition and the participating teams.
International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition is the largest undergraduate Synthetic Biology competition with 190 teams from top universities worldwide. Organized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), this event is one of important activities for the young students to explore the Synthetic Biology. Since 2009, GenScript, as a leading company in the synthetic biology field, has continued sponsoring iGEM teams by providing superior quality gene synthesis service to facilitate the teams building novel biological systems.
Our sponsored teams have won gold and silver medals in the past competitions.
