Kit Description

Based on GenScript's One-Step Western^TM Blot technology, the One-Step Western^TM GST Detection Kit is designed for quick sensitive and reliable detection of GST or GST-fusion proteins by either Western Blot or Dot Blot analysis.

One-Step Western^TM GST Detection Kit contains all the reagents, membrane and HRP substrate necessary to perform a Western or Dot Blot. Neither a primary antibody nor a secondary antibody is needed.

Easy to perform: This kit yields a complete western analysis in under 90 minutes. No secondary antibody is needed.
Low background: Faster, surer results with journal-quality images.
High sensitivity: The sensitivity of this kit is comparable to or higher than that of the classical 4.5-hour procedure, depending on the quality and quantity of antibodies used.

Application Examples:

Shown below is a dot blot detection of GST protein.
Dot Blot for the detection of GST protein using One-Step Western^TM GST Detection Kit L00211. 200 ng, 66.7 ng, 22.2 ng, 7.4 ng, 2.5 ng and 0.82 ng of GST were spotted on the membrane. The blot was developed with LumiSensor system included in the kit. Quantities of GST as low as 1 ng are cleanly detected.

Western Blot for the detection of GST protein using One-Step Western^TM GST Detection Kit L00211. 500 ng, 167 ng, 55.6 ng, 18.5 ng, 6.17 ng, 2.05 ng and 0.69 ng of GST were were loaded in Lane 1, Lane 2, Lane 3, Lane 4, Lane 5, Lane 6 and Lane 7, respectively. The blot was developed with the LumiSensor system included in the kit.
