Ni-IDA Resin
Description: High-Affinity Ni-IDA Resin (Cat. No. L00223, 50 ml of 50% slurry) is an agarose resin (4% cross-linked) covalently coupled to a tridentate chelating agent (iminodiacetic acid, called IDA) that binds Ni2+ ions at three coordination sites. It is particularly useful for the high-affinity purification of 6xHis-tagged recombinant proteins from any recombinant expression system, including bacterial, yeast, insect cell, and mammalian cells. These His-tagged recombinant proteins can be purified under either native or denaturing conditions. Proteins bound to the resin are then eluted with either low-pH buffer or imidazole solution or even with histidine solution.
Key Features:- High binding capacity: The kit can handle over 10 mg 6xHis-tagged protein/ml (CV).
- Simple purification procedure under both native and denaturing conditions.
- Broad pH stability: The resin works well between pH 3 and pH 13, and can manage pH 2 and pH14 for short periods.
- Resilient: If properly regenerated, the resin can be reused multiple times.
Applications: 1. Purification of polyhistidine-tagged proteins under native conditions. 2. Purification of polyhistidine-tagged proteins from E. coli under denaturing conditions.Order:
