Description:

GenScript's Stripping Solution provides a robust but gentle method for removing primary and secondary antibodies from Western blot developed with chemiluminescent substrates. Our Western blot Stripping Solution allows reprobing of the same membrane for several times using different antibodies, saving time and conserving samples.

No special incubator needed: the solution works at room temperature
Efficient stripping: completely removes most antibodies within 15 minutes
Mild formulation: the same membrane can be probed several times over

Note:

1. Membranes that cannot be immediately processed immediately may be stored overnight in PBS or PBST at 4°C.
2. Optimization of incubation time is essential for best results. In general, 15 minutes is enough to remove most antibodies. If high-affinity antibodies prove troublesome, incubate at 37°C for 15 minutes or longer to facilitate complete stripping.
3. To confirm complete removal of the primary antibody, incubate the membrane with the HRP-labeled secondary antibody, and then process just a Western blot.
