| Full Name | | Mouse Anti-Human IL-8 Monoclonal Antibody |
|
| Alias | Anti IL8; Anti interleukin-8; Anti Interleukin8 |
|---|
| Abbreviated Name-2 | CXCL8 |
|---|
| Description | IL-8, also known as neutrophil chemotactic factor, neutrophil activating protein, and monocyte-derived neutrophil chemotactic factor, is a member of the alpha (C-X-C) subfamily of chemokines called CXCL8. In response to proinflammatory stimuli, IL-8 is produced by monocytes, macrophages, T cells, neutrophils, and fibroblasts. IL-8 promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation. The 72-amino acid IL-8 is the predominant form secreted by monocytes and lymphocytes. Recombinant human IL-8 is an 8,400 Da protein containing 72 amino acids. The C10 antibody reacts with human Interleukin-8 (IL-8) protein. The immunogen used to produce C10 antibody is recombinant human IL-8 produced in E. coli containing 72 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 8,452 Da. |
