| Full Name | | Goat Anti-V5-tag Polyclonal Antibody |
|
| Alias | Goat Anti-V5-tag pAb |
|---|
| Abbreviated Name-2 | Anti V5-tag |
|---|
| Description | GenScript Goat Anti-V5-tag Polyclonal Antibody is developed in goat using a synthetic peptide of 14 amino acids (C-GKPIPNPLLGLDST) conjugated to maleimide activated KLH via an N-terminal cysteine as immunogen. The peptide corresponds to amino acids 95-108 of non-structural protein V and to RNA polymerase α subunit (P protein), of Paramyxovirus SV5. Goat Anti-V5-tag Polyclonal Antibody is an IgG fraction of antiserum. Anti V5-tag reacts specifically with V5 tagged recombinant fusion proteins expressed in transfected mammalian cells or from in vitro translation. The antibody may be using in immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation techniques. |

| Immunogen | Goats were immunized with a synthetic peptide representing amino acid residues 95 to 108 (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) of RNA polymerase alpha subunit of simion virus 5 conjugated to KLH. Antibody was isolated by affinity chromatography using the peptide immobilized on solid support. |
