DescriptionThe native peptide Autocamtide 2 (KKALRRQETVDAL) is a highly selective substrate for Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase (CaMK). The peptide Autocamtide 2 contains the sequence around the autophosphorylation site in the autoinhibitory domain of calmodulin-dependent protein kinase II (CaM kinase II). The fluorescent and biotinylated peptides are used to design assays for CaMKs.
SolubilitySoluble in water. The contents of this vial have been accurately determined. Both the stopper and the vial have been siliconized. Do not attempt to weight out a smaller portion of the contents.
