DescriptionAdrenomedullin (ADM) is a 52-aa hypotensive peptide. Adrenomedullin (ADM) has structural similarity with amylin. ADM is produced in peripheral tissues, adrenal medulla, lung, and kidney. ADM has specific receptors on astrocytes and it is unregulated in ischaemia.
