| Full Name | | Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus (M-MLV) Reverse Transcriptase (RNase H-) |
| | Abbreviated Name-1 | M-MLV RT (RNase H-) |
| Description | GenScript Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus (M-MLV) Reverse Transcriptase (RNase H-) is a genetically modified M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase (RT). It differs from the M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase (GenScript, Cat. No. Z02032) by its structure and catalytic properties. The enzyme possesses an RNA-dependent and DNA-dependent polymerase activity, but lacks ribonuclease H activity specific to RNA in RNA-DNA hybrids. RNase H activity is eliminated by a point mutation in the RNase H domain of M-MLV RT. |
| Source | E. coli |
