quinoprotein

A protein, usually of microbial origin, with a quinone prosthetic group: pyrroloquinoline quinone (e.g. methanol dehydrogenase), 6-hydrodopaquinone (topa quinone, e.g. amine oxidase) or 2',4-bitryptophane-6,7-dione (tryptophan tryptophanylquinone, e.g. amine dehydrogenase).
