Description

Recombinant human trimeric protein complex composed of full length His-tagged PRKAA1, His-tagged PRKAB2 and Flag-tagged PRKAG2, co-expressed in HEK293. The complex was activated in vitro with histidine-tagged CAMKK1.

Specific Activity

1095 nmole of phosphate transferred to SAMS peptide (HMRSAMSGLHLVKRR) per minute per mg of total protein at 30°C. Activity determined at a final protein concentration of 0.1 μg/ml. Activated 2.4 times by 100 μM AMP.

Storage

Store at -80°C. At first use, aliquot and store at -80°C to avoid multiple freeze-thaws. If properly stored at -80°C, this product is guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase.

0.550 mg/ml, as determined by Bradford protein assay with BSA as a standard.
