A fast and reliable detection method can help researchers better understand the biology of the disease and potentially guide future diagnostics and treatment.

SARS-CoV-2 qRT-PCR Detection Assay
To help expedite SARS-CoV-2 research, GenScript’s R&D team developed a 1 step qRT PCR detection assay based on GenBank Sequence NC_045512.2. This assay has successfully detected SARS-CoV-2 in positive control samples ORF1ab gene, RdRP gene, N gene and E gene. Additional testing is ongoing and this assay should be considered for research use only (RUO).

- Targets ORF1ab gene RdRP gene, N gene and E gene in SARS-CoV-2 genome (GenBank sequences NC_045512.2)
