Idiotypes are antigenic determinants located in the variable region of antibodies. An anti-idiotype antibody can specifically bind to an idiotype of another antibody, usually an antibody drug including monoclonal antibody, bispecific antibody (BsAb), antibody-drug conjugates(ADC), etc. Hence, anti-idiotype antibodies can be used in preclinical practices for pharmacokinetic (PK) analysis to measure antibody drug levels. Since an anti-idiotype antibody is very similar to an anti-drug antibody (ADA), anti-idiotype antibodies can also be used as positive controls for immunogenicity assays.

Specificity analysis of the detection of Ocrelizumab.
Ocrelizumab samples at 5 concentrations were spiked with 10 μg/mL of Rituximab. The test result demonstrated that the high concentration of Rituximab did not interfere with the detection of Ocrelizumab.

MRD Analysis of the Detection of Lecanemab in Biological Matrix.
The MRD is the minimum dilution necessary for the detection of Lecanemab in biological matrix with least interference. Serum samples from cynomolgus monkey were serially diluted to determine the MRD of this assay, and the test result suggested that MRD was as 1:10.
