CGFP-tag Antibody, MAb, Mouse

Specificity analysis of THETM GFP Antibody, mAb, Mouse (GenScript, A00185) by Western blot
using a variety of variants of GFP protein such as eGFP, cGFP and AcGFP1.
The signal was developed with IRDyeTM 800 Conjugated Goat Anti-mouse IgG.

Synonyms Mouse Anti-cGFP-tag mAb; Green Fluorescent Protein
Description The coral green fluorescent protein (cGFP) from vector pRNATin-H1.2/Neo (GenScript, SD1223) is a versatile marker for monitoring physiological processes, visualizing protein localization, and detecting transgenic expression. Mouse Anti-cGFP-tag Monoclonal Antibody can be used to detect cGFP fusion protein in Western blot analyses.
Host Species Mouse
Conjugation Unconjugated
Immunogen Purified recombinant cGFP fusion protein
Fusion Partner Spleen cells are fused with SP2/0-Ag14 mouse myeloma cells.
Purification Protein G affinity column
Key Features
  • GenScript cGFP-tag antibody has high sensitivity.
  • GenScript cGFP-tag antibody can recognize various forms of GFP proteins including eGFP, OFP and GFPuv.

  • Subclass Mouse IgG2b
    Clone ID 5E5G11
Concentration 1 mg/ml, lyophilized with PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide
Reconstitution Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
Specificity The antibody reacts with various forms of GFP including eGFP, OFP, and GFPuv.
Storage The antibody is stable in lyophilized form if stored at -20°C or below. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 2-8°C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.

The investigator must determine the ideal working concentration for each specific application. We have not yet determined the suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below. The ideal working concentration must take into account such factors as secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, sensitivity of the detection method, temperature, and length of incubations
    ELISA: 0.1-1.0 µg/ml
    Western blot: 1.0-2.0 µg/ml
Western blot using ONE-HOUR WesternTM Kit: For quick results, GenScript ONE-HOUR WesternTM Kit L00205C is recommended. 4 µg of this antibody is mixed with 4 ml of WB solution.
