Immunofluorescence staining of Human RPL17 Antibody (6H11E8) (GenScript, A01879-40) with RPL17 in Hela cells.
The cells were fixed with 4% Poly-Formaldehyde (5min) and then blocked in 3% BSA 30min. The cells were then incubated with Human RPL17 Antibody (6H11E8) (GenScript, A01879-40) at 10 μg/ml, 5 μg/ml or 2 μg/ml and mouse IgG at 10 μg/ml, 5 μg/ml or 2 μg/ml at room temperature for 2h, followed by a further incubation at 37℃ for 1h with Goat Anti-Mouse IgG Antibody (H&L) [FITC], pAb (GenScript, A01318) at 5 μg/ml.

Description Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. These subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. RPL17 encodes a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein belongs to the L22P family of ribosomal proteins. It is located in the cytoplasm. Among its related pathways are Metabolism and Viral mRNA Translation. As it is typical for genes encoding ribosomal proteins, there are multiple processed pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
GenScript Human RPL17 Antibody (6H11E8), mAb, Mouse is produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of SP2/0 myeloma and B-lymphocytes obtained from a mouse immunized with recombinant human RPL17.

Reconstitution Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/ml.
Specificity The product is specific for human RPL17. This antibody binds with recombinant RPL17 protein in ELISA and Endogenous RPL17 in western blot.
Storage The lyophilized product remains stable up to 1 year at -20 °C from date of receipt. Upon reconstitution, it can be stored for 2-3 weeks at 2-8 °C or for up to 12 months at -20 °C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.

Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigators. The appropriate concentrations may be affected by secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, the sensitivity of the method of detection, temperature, the length of the incubations, and other factors. The suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below has not been determined. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product.
