|Synonyms||Rabbit monoclonal to mutS homolog 6/GTBP/GTMBP/HNPCC5/HSAP/p160|
|Description||MSH6 belongs to the Mutator S (MutS) family of proteins. It contains the Walker-A/B adenine nucleotide binding motif. MSH6 has an intrinsic ATPase activity. It is involved in DNA damage repair. It functions exclusively when bound to hMSH2 as a heterodimer. It is reported that mutations in hMSH2 was associated with cancer.
