|Description||We are looking for vice president to lead the R&D team for protein/antibody drug development. This team will provide advanced technologies & methods to support the protein/antibody drug discovery and IND enabling. You will establish and develop innovative technologies or approaches within protein/antibody drug field, which will have a significant impact on the biosciences reagent service and downstream business.
Develop and implement strategies and tactical plans to drive the improvement of R&D system;
Provide scientific vision and leadership to advance protein & antibody platforms and future product portfolio.
Development of reagents and services to facilitate Gene therapy, cell therapy and antibody therapeutics, from early research stage to IND-enabling.
Lead collaborations with other cross-functional groups to support the development and commercial launch of new products.
Provide strategic input for research’s mid- and long-term goals.
Lead the process of R&D goal setting, including the establishment of and adherence to timelines and budgets.
Participate in the creation of a robust and industry-leading intellectual property portfolio.
Recruit, retain and develop talents, and provide leadership for a high performing team to meet our overall business objectives;
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
|Requirements|| A Ph.D. degree in immunology, molecular biology, or other related biological science with proven experience in scientific achievements.
At least 10 years biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience in leading research organizations, IND preparation and submission experience is preferred.
Expert scientific knowledge and experience in various biologics platforms is ideal, such as therapeutic peptide, recombinant protein, canonical or engineered antibodies protein. Knowledge of other therapeutic is highly preferred.
Experience navigating intellectual property / patents.
Strong leadership and communication skills and demonstrated experience in new techniques and products development.
Direct management experience with successful track record of building, coaching and mentoring a high-performing team;
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
Bi-lingual, fluent in Chinese and English reading, writing and conversation.
