The columns contain an optimized matrix of ferromagnetic spheres and a bio-friendly coating material that allows safe and free passage of cells. A strong magnetic field generated by the strong permanent magnet (e.g. CytoSinct™ Magnet), captures the magnetically labeled cells efficiently without affecting cell viability and integrity.
