GeneRIFs: Gene References Into Functions What's a GeneRIF?
EBITEIN1 is a phosphoprotein and a downstream interactor of ERK2 that participates in the intracellular signal transduction pathway mediating the morphogenetic development of round spermatids into spermatozoa.
Title: ERK2-binding domain is required for phosphorylation of EBITEIN1, a potential downstream interactor of ERK2.
Based on empirical and bioinformatic analyses, we propose two domains in EBITEIN1. One is the minimal sequence for binding ERK2 (EB domain) and the other is the EBITEIN1 C-terminal domain (ECT domain).
Title: Identification of ERK2-binding domain of EBITEIN1, a novel ERK2-binding protein.
The following Micalcl gene cDNA ORF clone sequences were retrieved from the NCBI Reference Sequence Database (RefSeq). These sequences represent the protein coding region of the Micalcl cDNA ORF which is encoded by the open reading frame (ORF) sequence. ORF sequences can be delivered in our standard vector, pcDNA3.1+/C-(K)DYK or the vector of your choice as an expression/transfection-ready ORF clone. Not the clone you want? Comment | Comment: VALIDATED REFSEQ: This record has undergone validation or preliminary review. The reference sequence was derived from AC132392.3. On or before Jan 14, 2011 this sequence version replaced XM_003084725.1, NM_027587.1. Sequence Note: This RefSeq record was created from genomic sequence data because no single transcript from the reference strain was available for the full length of the gene. The extent of this transcript is supported by transcript alignments. ##Evidence-Data-START## Transcript exon combination :: AB359922.1 [ECO:0000332] RNAseq introns :: single sample supports all introns SAMN00849380, SAMN00849384 [ECO:0000348] ##Evidence-Data-END## COMPLETENESS: complete on the 3' end. |
