Michaelis constant (Km)
Given by (k-1 +k2)/k1; the sum of the first-order rate constants for the productive and non-productive breakdown of the Michaelis complex divided by the second-order rate constant for its formation from free enzyme and free substrate; expressed in concentration units. (see also apparent Km)
