Livin7, ML-IAP
*This product has been discontinued!*
Livin, also known as melanoma inhibitor of apoptosis protein (ML-IAP) is one of recently identified inhibitors of apoptosis protein (IAP) family, which is overexpressed in melanoma cells, rendering them resistant to apoptotic signals. Targeting ML-IAP is a promising approach to treating melanoma. Livin7 peptide has the highest affinity to HLA-A24. Livin/ML-IAP interacts with downstream caspases, such as caspase-3, caspase-7, and caspase-9, leading to their inactivation and degradation.
