All-In-One Precast Agarose Gel Electrophoresis Kits

GenScript All-in-One Precast Agarose Gel Electrophoresis Kits are self-contained precast agarose gels which are designed to provide fast, convenient, and easy electrophoresis. The kits contain precast gels, loading buffer with GelRed dye, and ready-to-use DNA Markers in one package. No pouring of gel, staining, or destaining is required. Just load your samples and run in a regular gel box.

Our kits contain GelRed dye for DNA visualization. GelRed is more sensitive, less mutagenic, and more environmentally friendly than Ethidium Bromide. It frees you from the tedious process involved in Ethidium Bromide gel disposal.

Key Features:

High Throughput Format Available: The kits are available in one row of 9 wells, two rows of 9 wells, and one row of 17 wells.
Improved Safety: Ames test shows GelRed to be much less mutagenic than ethidium bromide.
High Sensitivity: The sensitivity of GelRed dye is much higher than that of either ethidium or SYBRGreen.
No special equipment is needed: GelRed works with standard ethidium filter and 300 nm UV transilluminator.
Flexibility: Different agarose concentrations available (0.8, 1.2, or 2%)
