Description

GenScript Mouse Anti-GFP [HRP] Monoclonal Antibody is highly immunoaffinity purified from mice ascites by protein A and then conjugated to horseradish peroxidase. GenScript Anti-GFP [HRP] can be used to detect various forms of GFP proteins in western blot analyses.

Storage

GenScript Anti-GFP [HRP] is best stored in lyophilized form until use. GenScript Anti-GFP [HRP] remains stable in lyophilized form for at least two years if stored at 2-8°C. Reconstituted GenScript Anti-GFP [HRP] can be stored for up to three months at 2-8°C or for up to two years at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.

Specificity

GenScript Anti-GFP [HRP] reacts with various forms of GFP including eGFP, OFP, and GFPuv.

0.5 mg/ml, lyophilized with PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide

Reconstitution

Reconstitute the lyophilized Mouse Anti-GFP [HRP] Monoclonal Antibody (40 μg) with 80 μl deionized water to the final concentration of 0.5 mg/ml.

Applications

Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigator. The chart below may serve as a useful guideline, but secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, temperature, incubation time, and the sensitivity of the detection methods can all affect the ideal working concentration. We have not yet determined the suitability of this antibody for other applications. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product.
ELISA: 0.02-0.5 µg/ml
Western blot: 0.1-1 µg/ml
Other applications: user-optimized

Briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container's cap because small volumes of antibody will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage.
