TrkA is one member of Trk receptor tyrosine kinases family that consists of TrkA, TrkB, and TrkC. TrkA plays an important role in proliferation and maturation of the nervous system. TrkA phosphorylation at Tyr490 is required for Shc association and activation of the Ras-MAP kinase cascade. TrkA kinase activity depends on phosphorylation of residues Tyr674/675 within catalytic domain. TrkA signals growth arrest and differentiation of cells originating from the neural crest, and can serve as a prognostic marker in neuroblastomas.GenScript Rabbit Anti-TrkA Polyclonal Antibody is developed in rabbit using a KLH-coupled synthetic peptide within residues 350-400 of human TrkA (Swiss Prot: P04629).
