Target Background FGF basic (FGF2) is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. It is involved in diverse biological processes, such as limb and nervous system development, wound healing, and tumor growth. FGF family members bind heparin and possess broad mitogenic and angiogenic activities. They are angiogenic agents in vivo and are potent mitogens for a variety of cell types in vitro. There are differences in the tissue distribution and concentration of these 2 growth factors.GenScript FGF-basic Antibody (3B10F9), mAb, Mouse is produced from the hybridoma resulting from fusion of SP2/0-Ag14 myeloma and B-lymphocytes obtained from mouse immunized with human recombinant FGF-basic protein (Swiss-Prot: P09038).
