| Description |
The peptide M40 containing the N-terminal galanin sequence (1-13) significantly antagonizes galanin-induced feeding behavior at doese approximately equimolar to the active doses of rat galanin. M40 inhibits the binding of (125I-Tyr26)-galanin (porcine) in rat hypothalamic membranes with an IC50 value of 15 nM. |
