The Interferon alpha 2a (IFN alpha 2a) gene was obtained from human leukocytes. The Recombinant Human Interferon alpha 2a (IFN alpha 2a) is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Purity Greater than 98.0% as determined by both:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.
Endotoxin Level Less than 0.1 ng/µg (IEU/µg) of rHuIFN-α 2a
Formulation Lyophilized from (1 mg/ml) solution containing 7.21 sodium chloride and 0.77 mg ammonium acetate.
Reconstitution It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized rHuIFN-α 2a in sterile 18 MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
