| Biological Activity | Serum Albumin, His, Cynomolgus immobilized on CM5 Chip can bind Biotinylated Cynomolgus FcRn, His-Avi Tag in SPR assay (Biacore S200). Test result was comparable to standard batch. | ||||
| Expression System | HEK293 | ||||
| Theoretical Molecular Weight | 67.1 kDa | ||||
| Apparent Molecular Weight | Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 68-70 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result. | ||||
| Formulation | Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). | ||||
| Reconstitution | Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1 mg/ml for 500 μg or 1 mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking. | ||||
| Storage & Stability | Upon receiving, the product remains stable for 6 months at -20℃ or below. Upon reconstitution, the product should be stable for 3 months at -80℃. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |

| Target Background | Albumins are multifunctional proteins present in the blood serum of animals. They can bind and transport a wide variety of ligands which they accommodate due to their conformational flexibility. Serum albumins are highly conserved both in amino acid sequence and three-dimensional structure. Several mammalian and avian serum albumins (SAs) are also allergens. Sensitization to one of the SAs coupled with the high degree of conservation between SAs may result in cross-reactive antibodies in allergic individuals. |
